The New Art Gallery Walsall has teamed up with Extra Special People to host Group Occupation, a series of three, short, interconnecting residencies. Alex Bailey, Georgie Park and Matt Westbrook have been sharing the Artists’ Studio for the month of April and have been developing new work independently and collectively. They end their residency with an open studio event at The New Art Gallery Walsall on 5 May.

Nine artists will participate in the project altogether and at the end of each residency period will open the studio to share their new ideas. The final three Group Occupation artists, Helen Brown, Joanne Masding and Samuel Rogers, who will be in residence 8 May – 2 June and will host an open studio event on Saturday 2 June.
