Katy introduces some of her favourite artist’s film and moving image work, plus, best-loved cinematic highlights. This programme features a selection of art films and movies that have influenced her practice and her thinking about filmmaking. Featured artist’s films include Andy Parkman Neptune 2008, Mark Leckey Fiorcucci Made Me Hardcore 1999, Sadie Benning It Wasn’t Love 1992 and Josephine Flynn Stuff 3 2003. Highlights from cinema include beginnings, middles and ends from Walt Disney’s Bambi, John G. Avildsen’s Rocky, Jim Jarmusch’s Stranger Than Paradise and Werner Herzog’s Stroezek.
